SLICE of Italy will be temporarily closing on the 5th May but don't worry it's for an exciting reason.
Top international chef Raymond Blanc, is hosting a competition on BBC 2 to find the country's most promising restaurateurs.
Two contestants will be opening their very own venture here on Wednesday 21st May which will trade for up to 8 weeks. It will have an innovative new menu and a very different feel.
Paying customers will not only sample delicious fare but will also play their part as restaurant critics. You may even appear in the series and enjoy an unforgettable evening of great food and drama.
The Restaurant will be open on Friday and Saturday nights. Walk-ins will be welcomed though you may also book up to one week in advance.
